AMSTERDAM

LETTERING

WEEKEND

“Take your lettering skills next level!”

Four lettering artists will join forces in Amsterdam to teach you different aspects of professional lettering! Three full days to learn, four professionals to choose from. Pick the days you want to join and choose one different workshop for each day. All workshops are suited for beginner to intermediate skilled level participants.
Which workshop would you like to follow on which day?

The event will be hosted at a fantastic location 10 minutes walking distance from Amsterdam Central Station.

The doors open at 9.30 AM, the workshops start at 10 AM and end at 5 PM. The working language will be in English. We will be working with paint, so don’t dress up too fancy. For more info about the event, the location or dietary requirements send an e-mail to info@boldstatements.nl

The location

The event will be hosted at:
IJsfontein
Kattenburgerstraat 5 – Building 024
1018DB Amsterdam

The spacious rooms have beautiful big windows with a view on the water and Nemo Science Museum. The location is based on the former grounds of the Dutch Navy (Marineterrein) which is just a 10 minute walk from Amsterdam Central Station. The Marineterrein has no streetnames, but the buildings have big blue signs with white numbers. Make sure to check out www.ijsfontein.nl/contact beforehand for detailed directions.

The workshops will be held on the first floor and there are only stairs. Unfortunately it is not wheelchair friendly. If that is a problem for you, please send us an email to discuss the possibilities.

IJsfontein is best accessible by public transport or by bike. There are no parking spots available on the Marineterrein. You can park on the Kattenburgerstraat (payed), the nearest parking garage is the Piet Hein Garage. Walking to IJsfontein will take about 10 minutes.
